01. Hospitality and Welfare Minister

Purpose of the Role

As the Hospitality and Welfare Minister, you will play a pivotal role in fostering cultural understanding, and enhancing community engagement, by creating an environment of care, comfort, and support, developing programs that reflect and celebrate the diverse cultural landscape of Alberta.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee programs that promote cultural awareness, education, and inclusivity within the community.
  • Collaborate with local cultural organizations and leaders to ensure diverse perspectives are included in all program initiatives.
  • Identifying and addressing the physical, emotional, or spiritual needs of members, particularly those facing challenges such as illness, bereavement, or financial difficulties.
  • Coordinate programs like food drives, clothing distribution, and outreach to those in need.
  • Oversee the preparation and arrangement of spaces for events, meetings, or gatherings, ensuring an inviting atmosphere.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for hospitality and welfare tasks.
  • Provide spiritual care, such as praying for or counseling individuals who are struggling.
  • Promote a sense of belonging and inclusion within the community.
  • Be capable of meeting the women at various locations throughout Canada
  • Be willing to adhere to all Jubilee Global Foundation Network policies and procedures
  • Complete the screening process, including vulnerable-sector police records check
  • Be at least 18 years of age
 

02. Youth Pastor

Purpose of the Role

To develop an outreach program for women and developing a one-on-one focused on learning about the world of work, family, exploring core commitment and development paths, to developing the skills they will need to successfully transition to employment, entrepreneurship, marriage, or other training.

Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with the women to facilitate life development-focused discussions
  • Support the women to develop and reach their career and personal goals
  • Empower the women to make their own decisions about their career and personal development
  • Occasionally attend Team Mentoring Sessions and/or Connector Events Qualifications
  • Established professional in the community, committed to the development of women
  • Be capable of meeting the women at various locations throughout Canada
  • Be willing to adhere to all Jubilee Global Foundation Network policies and procedures
  • Complete the screening process, including vulnerable-sector police records check
  • Be at least 18 years of age
